Yes, the Quadlase uses 755nm which is the most effective wavelength for fair, red and fine hairs with the power of 940nm to coagulate the micro-vessels around the hair follicle, cutting off the nutrient supply of hair follicles, which prevents regeneration of the hairs.
How long does it take?
Using revolutionary technology via a Quadlase Diode ICE hair removal for a single area is completed in a few minutes. The treatment applicator is swept back and forth repeatedly across the designated area whist rapid pulses of low energy light are pulsed into the skin ensuring full coverage and effective treatment.
How many treatments are needed?
Each hair removal treatment affects approximately 30% to 50% of the hair within the target area. Usually 6 sessions will effectively stop hair growth. You may require top up sessions later to kill off any new growth.
Depending on your hormone levels, pregnancy or a change in your medical status you may require a top up in future years, although most people find the triple diode ICE to be very effective, even from the very first treatment.
The device can only kill hair follicles that are actively growing when the laser session is performed, resting, sleeping or dormant hair follicles will not be affected, which is why you will require several sessions to catch the hairs during every phase your individual growth cycle.
