Wear it your way……..

A style all of your own

here is your important after information

Cosmetic Tattooing for Eyebrows

Day 1

Every hour after your appointment use cotton pads in warm water to clean the brows in sweeping motion. Do not scrub. Squeeze out the cotton pads and dry the brows in a gentle sweeping motion. Then apply a small layer of the aftercare cream you have been given. Shower the evening, this is important as it will remove any dirt and bacteria. Dab with kitchen towel gently to dry and apply a thin layer of aftercare cream.

Day 2 to 10

Every morning and evening before bed, clean the area of the brows with warm water and a very small amount of gentle wash, use a sweeping motion with cotton pads. Do not scrub. Squeeze out the cotton pads and dry the brows in a sweeping motion. Then apply a small layer of the aftercare cream you have been given.

Apply a thin layer of cream 3 to 4 times through out the day or whenever they feel tight or dry.

Do not pick dry skin or flakes in the brows. Be gentle with your new brows. Wash the brows and apply the cream for the full 10 days after the treatment. This will ensure the skin is kept clean and the new skin can heal well.

Cosmetic Tattooing for Eyes

The eyes tend to be one of the fastest healing areas of the body and sometimes introducing creams or washing too often can discourage healing. We prefer to allow your body to heal the area for us. So, we do not supply cream but do advise the below instructions.

Do not apply make up to the eyes, especially mascara. You could even treat yourself to a new mascara and discard any old ones to help prevent bacterial infection and you can use mascara after 4 days.

Take a shower once a day for 5 days

Do not pick or scratch at the eyes, try not to touch the area

If the area is itchy apply a VERY SMALL amount of Savlon to a clean cotton bud and apply above the eyeliner. Do not apply to the lashes or lash line.

This will help to stop you from touching the area.

Cosmetic tattooing for Lips

Day 1 to 10

The lips will be tender, avoid hot drinks and alcohol as well as spicy foods during the first 24 to 48 hours post procedure.

Apply plenty of clean Vaseline to the lips to keep them moist. Use a cotton bud or wash hands first with antibacterial soap. Never touch your lips with dirty unwashed hands. Treat the area like an open wound.

If you have been given antiviral cream for coldsores please use this as detailed in the instructions and continue to take any prophylactic medication given by your doctor, this is very important to continue to use anti viral medication to prevent an outbreak of coldsores.

Eating ice-poles or ice lollies and drinking iced drinks will help to sooth the lips and reduce swelling and bruising quickly.

If you have any concerns please contact us directly. Please note we cannot reopen the skin for a minimum of 4 weeks post procedure. You must go through the healing stage, before any changes can be made. Adjustments are usually better after a minimum of 6 weeks, which will usually during your top up.

Please be aware that the first 2 to 3 days after cosmetic tattooing can take some getting used to.

To allow the make up longevity, you will find that your make-up is slightly too dark, too bold or feels like it is too much after your first treatment, this is considered to be exactly the correct amount of saturation and once it has settled at around 4 weeks you will feel it is natural and JUST RIGHT.

Any change to your face can feel overwhelming. You are seeing what is above the skin and not what is actually below and the final and true result will only start to appear at around week 4. Pigments also oxidise overnight and also swell, it can be quite shocking to see darker more vivid colour and larger make up than the day before. Don't worry your feelings are completely normal. Everything will start to settle down at around day 5 and you should be feeling happy with your new semi permanent make up.
